Jennifer has this up on her blog and she invited others to play along. I'm not one to pass up easy post ideas, so here's my list of 8's:

my family
coffee
reading a good book
hanging out with friends
going to yard sales/thrift stores
finding a radio station that's playing my favorite songs in a row
watching movies
planning events/organizing large-scale things

8 Things that give me the Heebie-Jeebies:
roaches
public bathrooms
being out by myself at night
joints being popped
someone repeatedly coughing
buffet-style food, either at restaurants or family events
having my blood drawn/IVs
vomit

8 Random Facts:
I've played piano for 21 years, but I'm not as good as that statement implies
I like the idea of skating, but I don't actually enjoy the act of skating
I wanted to get my doctorate in psychology and work at Covenant House in NYC
I told my classmates the truth about Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy
I wanted to be a nurse until I realized that I would have to touch dead people
the number of names I have for future kids exceed the number of kids I want to have
I miss being a teenager, although I don't want to repeat my teenage years
I really enjoy volunteer work

  2. I laughed at your heebie jeebie list, because I totally agree with all of it.

    I couldn't even believe it when I read about your love of MacGyver. I actually asked for the first season on DVD for Christmas, because I was practically in love with Richard Dean Anderson for 10 years.

    One of the first things that attracted me to my husband was his ability to fix anything, and make stuff out of nothing, just like MacGyver.

    Also, he was really foxy.

  3. Beauty and the Beast? I remember that show! My dad graduated with Linda Hamilton. And my husband graduated with Linda Hamilton's niece. :-)
