Christmas 2008

BB has developed an obsession with the train table at Books-A-Million. He asks several times a week to be taken there so that he can play with the trains. This made it pretty easy to decide what to give him for Christmas:
DH and I looked at various train tables, but we weren't impressed with the quality of the tables. DH decided to build one for BB that can withstand the rigors of a little boy. DH and I set the table out late Christmas Eve so that BB would see the table first thing Christmas morning.
BB was surprised to say the least. He walked out into the room and gasped. He stood there staring at it with his mouth open for a few seconds...
He walked around the table, looking but not touching. He didn't say anything.
After some encouraging, he finally touched the table and started playing with his trains. He was so excited! We had a hard time prying him away from the table to get him dressed. With a reaction like that, next Christmas will be hard to beat!
