Sex Offender Registry

For those of you who are not aware, Megan's Law, signed in 1996, requires that states make public information on sex offenders. To find out the details of those in your area, go to www.klaaskids.org/pg-legmeg.htm. Once there, you can follow the directions to view your city and state. You can view the name, address, offense, date convicted, and mug shot of the offenders. Keep in mind, however, that this list is in no way comprehensive and only shows the offenders who obey the law by registering.
