If you take a little boy fishing for the first time, he'll want a chair to sit in as he fishes from the edge of the dock.

At least until he catches his first fish.

Once he gets a good look at the fish,

he'll drag his chair away from the edge and decide he wants to go home.

  1. Awesome! I've been waiting for John to take Alan out...except John doesn't really know how to fish. (Which is why I got both of them fishing poles for Father's Day.)

BTW, I haven't forgotten about the TX license plates, I've just been lazy/broke, depending. You'll get them!

  2. When Ben was little, he didn't stick with fishing long either, but now it is his favorite thing to do!

  3. I think I'd be a bit like that myself-- want a chair to sit in and then not really want anything to do with the fish!

  4. HA! This is great. I felt like I was reading If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.
