It's Apparent You're a Parent

When these are the sights you see around your house...DH wrote this note to himself; I waited and waited, and I never did get my Mother's Day cabbage and tomato. I wonder who ate it?
Yes, I keep my hand weights by my vacuum cleaner. Makes perfect sense to me!
If you run out of room to store shoes in your closet, try that free space on your bookshelves...
I find that baskets throughout the house can store practical items decoratively, whether it be extra quilts or tractors.
Because you never know when you might need a toy car to help you watch TV.
Hmm... Cookie Monster game box, with a flashlight inside and DH dress shoes on top. I'm sure it makes sense to somebody!
I find it's simply too inconvenient to keep extra toothbrushes in the bathroom. When I get back from the dentist, I just throw the new toothbrush and find it when I need a new brush.

  1. Oh my gosh, I really laughed at this one! Looking around right now, I see a tupperware container on the living room floor, and a sock on my kitchen counter. I can relate.
